基于文学的英语阅读教学对学生人文素养的拓展

摘要

Literature has close connection with the humanistic quality.It plays a very important role in English teaching in China and abroad.It is especially important for English majors to train humanistic quality.Reading is a process of the cultivation of hu-manistic quality.By interpreting the importance of classic literary works in English reading, this paper aims to show that we should strengthen the infiltration of foreign culture in English reading and make students understand the contribution of the foreign culture to human civilization.This is the real purpose of English reading education and the most effective path of developing stu-dents' humanistic quality.%文学与人文素质有着密切的联系，在国内外的英语教学中起着十分重要的作用，对于英语专业的学生来说尤为重要。阅读过程是培养人文素质的过程。本文通过对英语阅读过程中经典文学作品重要性的解读，旨在说明，在英语阅读中通过学习外国文化，让学生对经典文学作品进行阅读，来了解外国文化在学生人文素养培养方面所起的作用，这样才是英语阅读教学的真正目的，也是对学生人文素质拓展最有效的途径。
