本文首先对从事汽车相关技术的翻译人员需要具备的对一件事情、一种职业的热爱而产生的一种全身心投入的敬业精神、对从事职业活动中必须遵从的最低道德底线和行业规范的职业操守、沟通协作精神和具备行业的深度和广度的必备知识；翻译人员需要具备的持续学习、与时俱进、扎实的双语功底、反应、逻辑思维能力、车辆结构、术语以及熟练的驾驶技能和素质等方面进行了简单的论述。为了提升翻译水平，还针对从事汽车相关技术翻译工作的人员需要注意的问题和需要不断强化、自我提升的内容进行了分析，且尝试着提出了自己的建议。%This paper simply discusses the essential ability of translators who work in automobile industry which includes full devoted occupation spirit, obeying the lowest moral regulation, communication and cooperation consciousness and necessary knowledge with depth and scope as well as continuous study, keeping same step with practice, well-knit bilingual capacity, re-sponse and logic ideation, automobile structure knowledge and experienced riding skill and quality. For promoting translating a-bility, this paper analyzes important issues and required sustain-ing promoting content for the translators who work in automobile technology industry and tries to put forward personal suggestions for translators.
