盐业历史专有名词英译中归化和异化翻译策略的应用

归化和异化作为两种翻译策略,用于处理在翻译实践中文化差异所带来的翻译问题.盐史文本翻译不仅可以传播中国盐文化, 还能促进中外盐文化之间的交流. 而盐业专有名词是盐史文本的重要组成部分,专有名词的翻译具有专业性和特殊性等特点.文章从盐史文本及专有名词的特点和翻译目的出发,通过翻译实例,来探讨归化和异化翻译策略在盐史专有名词翻译中的应用.%Domestication and foreignization are two kinds of translation strategies, which are used to deal with the translation problems caused by cultural differences in translation practice. The translation of salt history text can not only spread the culture of salt industry history in China, but also promote the exchange of salt culture both at home and abroad. Salt nomenclature is an important part of the text of the salt history and the translation of nomenclature has the characteristics of profession and specialty. Based on the characteristics of salt history text, nomenclature and the purpose of translation, the paper explores the application of domestication and foreignization translation strategies in the translation of nomenclature in the salt history text through translation examples.
