Radio over fiber (RoF) system raises the carrier frequency to microwave and millimeter wave band, in order to make full use of spectrum resources and realize the large capacity, low cost, low loss of signal transmission, this paper proposes a bidirectional RoF system using Maher-Zehnder modulator (MZM) to sup-press even order sidebands. The system can transmit baseband, 30GHz microwave and 60GHz millimeter wave signals simultaneously using single sideband modulation. The spectra and error rate curves obtained after the transmission of 20km single-mode fiber (SMF) demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed system.%光载无线通信(Radio over Fiber,RoF)系统将载波频率提升至微波和毫米波段,为了充分利用频谱资源,实现大容量、低成本和低损耗的信号传输,提出了一种利用马赫-曾德尔调制器(MZM)抑制偶次边带的双向RoF系统.该系统利用单边带调制,可同时传输基带、30GHz微波和60GHz毫米波信号.仿真经过20km单模光纤(SMF)传输后得到的光谱图和误码率曲线图验证了该系统的可行性.
