There wouldn’ t be any ancient Chinese books without the beauty of the binding of line. However, the line in modern thread-bound books is beyond the tradi-tional method with more design and charm. It becomes a good way of expressing emotion and ideas of the designer. Meanwhile, the diversity of design provides development space for the graphic, text and modern constitution of“line”. Besides the continuous innovation, designers care more about the culture, nationality and modernity of the book. The “line” in thread-bound books has become an important design element to express the beauty, and is a beautiful view of the book.
