英汉语篇章句式结构的对比——以《新视野大学英语4-读写教程》为分析文本

摘要

英汉在篇章句式结构上由于思维方式的差异，分别在主语和话题突显、聚集和流散以及繁复和简短三个方面表现出显著特点，以当今热门大学英语教材《新视野大学英语4-读写教程》为分析文本，对英汉篇章句式结构进行了对比分析，指出了两种语言篇章句式结构由这三方面所体现的形式与意义的异同。%Differences of sentence structures between English and Chinese mainly lie in the three aspects of subject - prominence and topic prominence, compactness and diffusiveness, complexity and simplicity, influenced by modes of thinking. A contrast on sentence structures has been carried out on （ New Horizon College Englizh - Reading ＆ Writing： Book4）, which indicates the differences of forms and meanings between English and Chinese.
