基于语料库的英语专业学生写作词汇丰富性研究

摘要

本研究以语料库中的写作语料为材料，从词汇多样性、词汇复杂性、词汇密度和词汇独特性四个维度来探索英语专业1～4年级学生写作词汇丰富性的发展趋势，研究结果发现：写作中的词汇多样性、词汇复杂性呈非线性发展，且都分别出现了高原现象；词汇密度的发展随着学生年级的升高而提升，但相邻年级间无显著性差异；词汇独特性发展呈现出波动性但各年级间均无显著性差异。%Based on a corpus of written compositions , this study investigated developmental features of Eng-lish majors'written lexical richness during their four-year period from four dimensions:lexical variation , lex-ical sophistication , lexical density and lexical originality .The research finds nonlinear progress and a plat-eau phenomenon respectively in both development of lexical variation and lexical sophistication .Improve-ment is also observed in lexical density although no significant difference is discovered between year -to-year changes.In terms of lexical originality , it shows fluctuation but no salient difference is found .
