互联网作为一个无限巨大的多媒体综合信息平台，将当今世界置于无处不在的信息化中，宗教传播也不例外。网络在其公开性、共享性、包容一切的特点之下也具有多可能性和不确定性，这就使得网络时代的社会结构由稳定的金字塔式向扁平化转变，加剧了其不稳定性。“蝴蝶效应”也比任何时候更极致化，原本牢固的形象在网络世界变成了易碎品。另外，宗教作为一种在人类社会中产生的意识形态和历史文化现象，以“虚拟意识”的力量来影响人的思想和社会行为。因而对于网络这一新媒介与宗教的结合，其社会功能对于不同个体的作用不是唯一的，其影响力也是不容小觑的。%With universal application of the Internet,the world has been put in the ubiquity of information, even reli⁃gions is no exception. Internet is an infinite multimedia information platform. Under the characteristics of publicity, sharing and virtual, it also has some possibility and uncertainty. Social network structures would become vulnerable with some complicated and uncertain network factors. The social structure is changing from pyramid to flattening. A value much greater than one would lead to a chaotic system, as in the butterfly effect. In addition, the religion is an ideological and historical cultural phenomenon in human society which has a profound effect on believers’thoughts and social behaviors. Religious organization has turned into a virtual community on line. In the new mode of trans⁃mission, the religious composition is more complicated. Therefore, the network religious claims our highest attention.
