The study, based on Critical Pedagogy, attempts to investigate the role of English writing teaching under the guidance of Critical Pedagogy in cultivating English majors’ critical thinking skills. Major findings show that the experimental group scores significantly higher in the comprehensive critical thinking disposition. Besides, the experimental group is superior in five of the seven items that comprises the critical thinking disposition.%本文以“批判教学法”为理论框架,采用实证定量方法,研究批判教学法指导下英语写作教学模式对培养学生思辨能力的作用。结果表明实验班在综合批判思维倾向上显著高于对照班,且实验班在分量表的5个特质上均优于对照班。可见批判教学法指导下的英语写作教学对提高学生思辨能力具有明显效果。
