Multidrug resistant MDR ) of tumors is one of the main clinical failure of chemotherapy, but the mechanism of MDR has not yet been completely clarified. Recent studies show that small RNA ( miRNA ) can regulate the multi -gene expression with high efficiency and specificity, which abnormaly may be involved in the mechanism of tumor drug resistance by modulating expression of the target gene, and plays an inportant role in complex regulation of tumor resistance. Therefore, the research of the small RNA and cancer drug resistance has great practical significance . Relationship of various - tumor drug resistance with small RNA and microRNAs as potentially therapeutic targets in cancer in recent years were reviewed in this article.
