马约翰在昆体育考——纪念马约翰诞辰130周年

摘要

通过文献资料等方法，在马约翰于1946年9月10日发表于《正义报》上的回忆性文章《在昆工作八年之回顾》的基础上，进一步挖掘整理他在昆的体育实践，从史料中反映出抗战时期马先生通过运动竞赛的方法隶推动昆明大众体育的普及，在普及过程中注重培养运动员的sportsmanship（体育道德）和提高体育教员的专业科学知识，体现出他fight to the finish and never give in（干到底绝不松劲）的体育精神。%Through the methods of literature, the anthor reviewed Mr. John - ma's memory article : ‘ the review of eight years work in kunming' and excavated the other sports events in Kunming. Conclusion: He popularized the public sports through the sport games. At the same times he cultivated the sportsmanship of anthletes, and the professional knowledge as a PE teacher,it also reflects his sports spirit of Tight to the finish and never give intsports spirit.
