The translation of Chinese Neologism is a challenging job,which may impact the spread of Chinese culture across the world. A correct choice of translation strategy will surely be conducive to the accurate translation of the Chinese neologism. Foreignization-based methods plus some other translation means for English Translation of Chinese Neologism aim to retain something of the foreignness of the original,especially its cultural connotations so as to spread the Chinese culture across the world in an efficient manner by means of translation. Besides,the foreignization-oriented translation on the part of major English newspapers and magazines abroad will throw some light on our Chinese-English translation methods at large.%我国汉语新词的翻译是一项极富挑战性的工作，它关系到中国文化对外传播的效果。选择正确的翻译策略有助于汉语新词的准确英译，异化视角下汉语新词翻译的音译/直译方法+其他翻译手段旨在保留原语文本中的某些异质性，特别是其文化内涵，以便更好地通过翻译传播中国文化。此外，国外主流英语报刊汉语新词异化翻译的倾向对我国汉译英的方法具有一定的启示。
