噪声条件下二语辅音感知中的区别特征信息传递研究

         

摘要

由一组中国英语学习者和一组英语母语者参加的在不同类型噪声条件下对英语辅音进行感知的实验结果显示,中英被试在发音位置、发音方法、发声特征以及咝声特征等区别特征上的信息传递均有差别,体现了二者在噪声条件下的辅音感知中区别特征运用策略的不同。由上述分析可知,母语对中国学习者英语辅音感知会产生影响,因而在英语教学中应加强对学习者运用音位间关键区别特征的显性指导。%A transmitted information analysis on distinctive phonetic features was carried out in the current study,based on the data collected from an experiment of Chinese listeners′perception of Eng-lish consonants in noise conditions.The results showed that the transmitted information on features such as place,manner,voicing and sibilant were all different between Chinese English learners and n-ative English listeners,indicating different strategies of using these features in perceptual tasks in noise between the two listener groups.The native language influence on Chinese learners′English consonant perception was also discussed,and this paper suggests that,to improve Chinese learners′perceptual performance in adverse conditions,more explicit instructions on the key distinctive features between English phoneme categories should be given during the teaching process.
