试论博物馆文物展品的英译——以洛阳博物馆为例

摘要

Discourses on cultural relics contain not only linguistic information but also historic and cultural elements. Therefore, its translation should be a transmission and exchange of culture but not limited in the linguistic domain. Based on the studies of English translations for cultural relics displayed in museums in Luoyang, this paper analyzes various translation techniques employed in the translation and their application, in an attempt to maximize the interpretation of the cultural factors.%博物馆文本除了语言信息内容之外包含厚重的历史文化信息，因此其翻译也不应再局限于语言学研究领域，而是一种文化的传递与交流。作者以洛阳市各大博物馆文本英译的相关调查为基础，探索多种翻译方法在博物馆文本英译中的灵活运用，以期最大限度地实现其中文化信息的传递。
