浅谈文化视域下功能对等理论在英汉习语翻译中的应用

摘要

Idioms are a carrier of culture , which so closely linked their social environment , religion , his-torical allusions .It is hard to find exactly the form of a peer in another language .Therefore ,the meaning of the transfer should be in the first place .The analysis of idioms exist in the background , and from literal transla-tion, conversion translation , free translation , literal translation and free translation method of combining theo-retical knowledge , the application of functional equivalence in Idiom translation was studied .%习语是文化的一种载体，和其社会环境、宗教信仰、历史典故等都有着密切的联系，很难在另一种语言中找到完全对等的形式，因此翻译时把意义的传递放在首位是很重要的。分析习语存在的背景，及英汉习语的关系，从直译法、转换翻译法、意译法、直译与意译相结合的方法认识功能对等理论在英汉习语翻译中的应用。
