From the beginning of the 1920s, Chinese intellectuals translated and published Marxist classics while they also translated and published a number of writings that foreign scholars wrote for explaining and propagandizing Marxism, such as Kautsky’s Class Struggle, Buha Lin et al’s Communism ABC, Seligman’s Economic History, Guo Tai's Interpretation of Historical Materialism, Kautsky’s Marx Capital Commentary, Marci’s Das Kapital Macclesfield Getting Started and Kirkup’s Socialist History. Together with Communist Manifesto, Critique of Political Economy preface, Das Kapital and Socialism:Utopian and Scientific and other classics, these translations had a tremendous impact on Chinese Communists in the process of spreading Marxism.%从1920年代开始，中国思想界在翻译出版马克思主义经典著作的同时，还翻译出版了不少外国学者撰写的解释、宣传马克思主义的著作。考茨基的《阶级争斗》与布哈林的《共产主义ABC》对于中国革命者接受阶级争斗理论和马列基本知识起了巨大作用；塞利格曼的《经济史观》与郭泰的《唯物史观解说》影响了李大钊、李达等对唯物观的理解；考茨基的《马克斯资本论解说》与马尔西的《马格斯资本论入门》提供了《资本论》类比较难懂著作的通俗性解读，柯卡普的《社会主义史》影响了众多的中国第一代共产主义者。
