Objective: To investigate the opportunity of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) and the risk factors of multiple organ dysfunction (MODS) in asphyxiated neonates. Methods: According to the criteria of SIRS and MODS,258 cases in NICU were studied from Jan, 1996 to Dec, 2000.Results: 172 cases (66. 7%) were diagnosed as SIRS,20. 9% (36/172) of SIRS patients developed MODS, The mortality rate of MODS was 44. 4%. Conclusion: SIRS/MODS in common in asphyxiated neonates, The SIRS patients have high incidence of MODS and its mortality is high. Early intervention should be taken in such cases.%目的:观察全身炎症反应综合症(SIRS)在新生儿窒息后引发多器官功能不全综合症(MODS)的机率和危险因素。方法:回顾性总结分析我院儿科病房1996年1月至2000年12月收住的新生儿窒息258例所发生SIRs和MODs的情况。结果:全组258例患儿,符合SIRS标准172例,占66.7%,最终发展成MODS 36例,占20.9%,死亡16例,病死率44.4%。结论:窒息新生儿SIRS和MODS发生率高,SIRS发生MODS的危险性大,病死率高,必须尽早干预。
