Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with medicine on the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis with weakness of the spleen and the stomach. Methods 75 cases of diabetic gastroparesis with weakness of the spleen and the stomach were randomly divided into two groups. 37 patients in treatment group were treated by acupuncture combined with medicine. 38 cases in control group were treated by oral Chinese herbs treatment. The therapeutic course was four weeks in two groups. Overall efficacy, Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom score and improvement of gastric emptying rate indicators were observed before and after treatment in two groups. Results The total effective rate in treatment group (78. 4% ) was higher than that in control group (57. 9% , P < 0.05). There was obvious difference between two groups on the gastric emptying rate (P <0.05 ). The gastric emptying rate was higher in treatment group. The improvement of Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom in treatment group was superior to that in control group (P < 0. 05). Conclusion Acupuncture combined with medicine has definite effect on the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis.%目的 观察针药并用治疗脾胃虚弱证糖尿病胃轻瘫的临床疗效.方法 将75例脾胃虚弱证糖尿病胃轻瘫患者随机分为2组.治疗组37例采用针药并用治疗,对照组38例采用口服药物治疗,疗程均为4周,观察2组治疗前后胃排空率、中医主要症状积分及临床疗效.结果 治疗组总效率78.4％,对照组总有效57.9％,2组比较差异有统计学意义(P＜0.05),治疗组疗效优于对照组；2组治疗后胃排空率比较差异有统计学意义(P＜0.05),治疗组胃排空率高于对照组；治疗组在改善中医主要症状方面优于对照组(P＜0.05).结论 针药并用治疗糖尿病胃轻瘫疗效确切.
