METHOD OF NON-PHARMACOLOGICAL CORRECTION OF DIABETIC GASTROPARESIS

The method of non-pharmacological correction of symptoms of slowing motor-evacuation function of the stomach in the patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) with modern treatment algorithms for the clinical manifestations of diabetic gastroparesis (DG) provides for the improved individual treatment regimens for DG manifestations with daily supplementations aimed at correcting carbohydrate metabolism and three-month course of pathogenetic therapy: alpha lipoic acid 600 mg/day and Benfotiamin 300 mg/day in combination with acupuncture sessions over 2 weeks.
