Synthesizing a realistic animation of crowd behavior in a virtual environment often requires executing cumbersome manual interaction and setting a large number of empirical parameters. Aimed at this tedious problem, this paper presents the macroscopic behavior of crowd representation based on a velocity field-driven method, which contests four steps: capturing video in real scene, typical pedestrian velocity field extraction, interactive design for velocity field crowd, and real-time animation synthesis on crowd behavior. 3D evacuation simulation results showed that the method with little interactive workload can afford realistic simulations and has wide range of application surface.%目前人群疏散的行为动画应用较少,根本原因在于需要设置大量参数,从而需要大量的手工交互.针对此问题,提出了一种速度场驱动的人群宏观行为表示方法.方法包括人群运动实验、典型速度场提取、交互式人群速度场设计和人群行为动画合成等4个步骤.以该算法为核心开发了三维虚拟人群仿真系统,实验结果表明该方法交互工作量小,仿真结果逼真,具有广泛的应用面.
