Changes in stress field and formation of fracture zones make the stability of coal seam and roof floor strata change, lead to the sta-bility of surrounding rock and ground pressure behavior change in the mining process. The collapse of top coal and coal wall spalling under soft seam conditions is the main effects of strata pressure behavior form. On the basis of analysis of mechanics principles of coal wall spalling, put forward the mechanics ways and technological measures of preventing coal wall spalling and collapse of top coal in caving coal face.%应力场的变化和破碎带的形成使煤层及其顶底板岩层的稳定性状况发生改变,并导致在开采过程中采场围岩的稳定性以及相应的矿压显现特征发生改变。松软煤层条件下综采工作面的漏顶、片帮是影响正常生产的主要矿压显现形式,在分析工作面煤壁片帮力学机制的基础上,提出了防止综采放顶煤工作面漏顶、片帮的力学途径及技术措施。
