Irchel Park embodies a unique spirit due to the interaction of urban space and wilderness. By giving nature the possibility to grow wild in different intensities within the park, its design concept goes beyond the aim of the classical landscape garden and incorporates the idea of'laisser-faire' nature-with minimal human intervention-allowing nature to assume part of the design task over time.
