坛城与枯庭的传统空间叙事结构辨析

摘要

在传统空间叙事结构中,坛城与枯庭(“象”的层次),皆可诉诸佛教哲理(“意”的层次),但却能衍生不同的空间形式(“言”的层次),令人费解.运用“四方架构”的诠释工具推断,2种叙事结构可以分别诠释为:佛教宇宙论进路的空间修炼与佛教本体论进路的空间修养.它们既无学理矛盾,也无境界高低之分,只是在回答不同的基本哲学问题.%In traditional spatial narrative structure,Mandala and Karesansui at the level of Image,both can be explained by Buddhistic philosophy at the level of Idea,but derive different special formats at the level of Words.This paper states,based on the four basic philosophic questions of Chinese philosophy,two types of narrative structure can be explained separately as:spatial training from Buddhistic Cosmology and spatial cultivation from Buddhistic Ontology (Theory of Value).They are neither contradictory theoretically nor different in priority,but answer distinguishing basic philosophic questions.
