Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is a preventable and treatable disease,manifesting as air-flow limitation caused by chronic inflammation of airways and progressive destruction of lung parenchyma and structure. The patho-genesis of COPD is resulted by a variety of complex mechanisms such as inflammation,protease / antiprotease imbalance,oxida-tive stress,DNA damage,apoptosis,cell senescence and cell repair defects. This paper reviews the relationship between oxida-tive DNA damage and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.%慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)是一种可以预防和治疗的疾病,其特点是气道的慢性炎症以及肺实质和肺泡结构的渐进破坏,引起不完全可逆的气流受限。COPD的发病是多种复杂机制相互作用的结果,如炎性反应、蛋白酶/抗蛋白酶失衡、氧化应激、DNA 损伤、细胞凋亡、细胞衰老和细胞修复功能缺陷。本文对氧化应激引发的 DNA 氧化损伤与COPD的关系进行综述。
