In order to improve the comprehensive engineering ability of the undergraduate in the process of Excellent Engineer Education & Training Scheme (EEETS), the design principles of serial inquiry-based project-teaching method are put forward in detail, based on the thoughts of inquiry teaching and the advanced concepts of CDIO engineering education. The object of teaching reform is the program of advanced manufacturing technology, belong to the discipline of mechanical design & manufacture and its automation. The corresponding project-teaching case is present in this paper. The proposed design principles can provide some useful references to other related disciplines of EEETS.%为了满足“卓越工程师教育培养计划”提高学生综合工程实践能力的需要,基于探究式教学思想和CDIO工程教育的先进理念,总结出能力进阶的系列化探究式项目教学的设计思路,结合正在实施和推进的机械设计制造及其自动化专业先进制造技术方向卓越工程师教改试点班工作,给出了探究式项目教学的设计案例,可为相关专业的卓越工程师教育培养提供有益的借鉴。
