I. INTRODUCTION There have been many outstanding judges abroad, such as Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., Benjamin N. Cardozo, Louis D. Brandeis, Learned Hand and so on. Thus, who are the outstanding judges in China? What are the characteristics of Chinese outstanding judges? How to be a National Model Judge in China? The following part of this paper will give us a brief portrayal of the reward activities conducted by the Supreme People’s Court of People’s Republic of China (SPC) over the past decades, which forms the current judicial honor system of China.
