: Benzoylated phenyl α - and β - 2-thio-D-fructofuranosides were synthesthed and firstly used as donors in coupling with sucrose acceptor. a-Fructohanoside was stereospecifically synthesized by employing NIS(N - iodosuccinimide)/AgOTf as catalysts.
