日本园林与城市史研究概况

摘要

The studies on the history of Japanese landscape architecture have been focusing on the gardens in Kyoto. As a sort of visual arts, Kyoto’s royal gardens and monasteries gardens are regard as an ideal mode. In recent years, some new researches started to focus on the utilities and functions to re-evaluate the gardens. These new researches have initiated a new view and path for the study and preservation of Japanese gardens.%对京都园林的研究一直以来是日本园林史界研究的主流。作为一种视觉艺术，京都的皇家园林或寺院园林，被视为理想的园林形式。近年来出现了从实用性，功能性的角度探讨园林历史、重新评价园林的新的研究动向。这些园林史的研究为历史园林保护的新思路，提供了理论基础。
