A comparison is made between the affective responses of ninety four managers from low, medium, and high power distance national cultures towards participating in a 360-degree feedback process. No significant differences were found in the affective responses of the managers; however a correlation was found between the manager's education levels and their affective responses. This indicates that education levels, more so than national culture, could be a mediating factor in determining whether participation in a 360-degree feedback process will elicit positive responses. Further research is suggested to allow a fuller understanding of the mediating factors influencing the application of the 360-degree feedback process cross-culturally.
