翻译变译理论视角下的口译策略——以第34次亚太互联网络信息中心模拟会议为例

摘要

翻译变译现象从古至今伴随着整个翻译历程，但对变译现象的研究却是近10年才起步和发展起来。经历了10多年的发展，变译理论无从无到有，形成了自己特有的理论框架和体系。自创立之初，变译理论主要关注笔译方面的研究，对于口译的研究在近几年有所发展，但对口译研究的指导意义并未得到充分挖掘。笔者以模拟口译的形式，对自己模拟口译的材料进行对比分析，从变译理论的视角下，试图探讨变译理论中的变译策略对实际口译活动的实践和指导意义。　　第34届互联网信息技术大会现场发言稿文本为模拟材料，在同学的组织和配合下，进行互联网信息技术大会模拟会议。根据模拟口译录音和原文本，在案例分析中对部分材料进行对比分析，并结合互联网信息技术大会发言稿的三大特点，探讨了在口译中遇到的实际困难和相应的应对策略。文中还探讨了在词汇和句法层面上变译策略的应用问题，研究了变译策略如何在实际口译活动中发挥实践指导作用，并以此总结出了此类口译活动中最为常见的四种变译策略。　　经济社会不断发展，科技日新月异，市场对科技口译的需求也在不断增长。以市场为导向的变译策略正好契合当前的市场需求，充分考虑演讲者、听众的特定需求，发挥译员的主动性，高效清晰地将信息从讲者传递给听众。基于所做的模拟口译的研究分析可望进一步拓展变译理论视角下的口译研究，为口译学习者和实践者提供一些切实可行的变译经验。
