Objective:To analyze the factors influencing the prognosis of patients with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC). Method andMaterial:The clinical data of 151 PBC patients admitted at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2007-May 2011 were used. Records of age, gender, liver function, blood lipid and other 23 indicators were evaluated using SPSS16.0 software based on the database, theKaplan–Meier survival curvewas usedtoestimate thesurvival ratefrom lifetime dataand the Log-Rank test was usedto comparethesurvivaldistributionsofpossible prognostic factors in univariate analysis, and then the univariate analysis of variables into meaningful COX model to multivariate regression. Results:Univariate analysis showed that the age, prothrombin time, partial thromboplastin time, total bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, serum albumin, blood sodium, low density lipoprotein cholesterol (ldl-c), high-density lipoproteincholesterol (hdl-c), r-glutamyltranspeptidase were correlated with prognosis of PBC (P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that prothrombin time, total bilirubin, serum albumin, blood sodium were significantly correlated with prognosis of PBC (P<0.05). Conclusion:Prothrombin time, partial thromboplastin time, serum sodium, serum lipids, r-glutamyltransferase enzyme, serum albumin, bilirubin level are the calculated prognostics factors of primary biliary cirrhosis.
