摘要

玛格丽特·德拉布尔（1939-）是当代英国文坛多产而最具影响力的女作家之一，在学术界享有盛誉，被称为“妇女作家”和“谨慎的女权主义者”。本论文以德拉布尔的两部小说《金色的耶路撒冷》(1967)和《七姐妹》(2002)为研究对象，探索德拉布尔笔下现代知识女性的姐妹情谊。迄今为止，鲜少有评论家对这两部作品中的相关内容展开系统性研究。本文将试析两部作品并试图揭示出，通过建立姐妹情谊，女性可以实现自身的价值。本论文主要围绕以下两个问题展开:现代知识女性为什么要寻找姐妹情谊和姐妹情谊在其作品中的意义。
　　论文首先从三方面探寻姐妹情谊产生的原因，即理想男性角色的缺失，父权制社会的压制以及现代女性受教育的背景。第二，论文通过研究和分析《金色的耶路撒冷》及《七姐妹》中姐妹情谊的具体表现，总结了三种模式的姐妹情谊，包括挚友、亲密的母女以及孤独的中老年女士。在作品中，无论是青年女性还是中老年女性，她们各自都找到了姐妹情谊的价值。第三，论文还围绕德拉布尔作品中姐妹情谊的意义，从作者自身的经历、女性主义及社会背景三个方面展开讨论。
