《2013中国人类发展报告》英译项目报告

摘要

近年来，中国的发展无可争议地成为世界经济全球化不可或缺的重要组成部分。中国领导人推进生态文明政策，在提高城镇化质量的同时，以人为核心，改善民生，使中国的城市更宜居。《2013中国人类发展报告》的发布在帮助联合国开发计划署影响中国发展政策制定方面起到了独特的作用。笔者选取该报告为翻译实践项目，试图对此进行全面系统的研究。
　　本项目报告选取政治性文本的翻译为研究对象，包含了社会学、语言学和翻译学等学科的知识内容，翻译成果不仅需要被目标语读者所接受，同时应起到必要的对外沟通作用。在此项目翻译的过程中，笔者主要遇到的重点及难点包括报告中反复出现的具有中国特色词汇的翻译，长难句以及无主句等句式的处理，以及在语篇层面如何使译本的衔接更加自然通顺等问题。本报告的重点亦在解决这些重难点问题。笔者结合目的论，采取以受众为中心的翻译策略，通过对这些问题加以理论分析，找出难点产生的原因，探索解决这些重点及难点问题的方法。笔者通过此翻译项目的实践，系统总结了相关翻译技巧，以试图探索适用于此类相关文本的翻译方法。
