Abstract: This paper describes photorefractive self-pump phase conjugation in BaTiO$-3$/ and multi-wave mixing in Bi$-12$/SiO$-20$/ spatial light modulators, and utilizes these systems to implement optical image storage, wavelength conversion, image subtraction, and optical image shifting. The operational principles and experimental results are presented.!9
