摘要

Iron of average crystallite sizes 17 and 32 nm was obtained and were subjected to the nitriding reaction. A series of samples with different degrees of conversion of Fe to Fe_4N were produced. The XRD analysis demonstrated that the dependence of the average crystallite size, both for the reactant and product, on the conversion degree exhibits an increasing tendency. Based on this dependence a new method for the determination of size distribution was successfully developed.
