HIV molecular epidemiology and vaccine development in China

摘要

In the current wave of HIV epidemic in China,less developed rural areas were affected the most.There are more than 100 million immigrates from rural to urban areas traveling back and forth each yea,The STD incidence in China has increased from 0.02per 100,000 in 1981 to 30.73 per 100,000 in 1995.Considering all these factors:the potential for a dynamic expansion of HIV and AIDS in China is enormous.
