Preparation of TiO_2 Nanoparticles by Hydrolyzation of Ti(SO_4)_2 Coated by Surfactant

摘要

In this paper, the TiO_2 nanopartides with narrow size distribution have been successfully prepared by hydrolyzation of Ti ( SO_4)_2, in which the PVA is used as surfactant of particle. As-prepared powders are characterized by TEM, TGA-DTA and XRD techniques. The microstruc-ture and crystal type are measured by TEM and XRD, which show that the powder particles are spheric-like shape, and the average size is 20 nm. The result shows that the shape and size of TiO_2 nanoparticles can be controlled and modified by Poly vinyl alcohol(PVA).
