Utilizing the Benefits of Linear Cross-Ply Laminates This poster presentation of AMP AKZO LinLam vof and Mommers Print Service bv introduce a new base material for the printed circuit industry. LinLam belongs to a new generation of laminates which is not reinforced with fabrics or non-woven but, with monofilament yarns in a so called-plied way. This family of materials are used in structural composites e.g. aircraft and space applications but is relatively new in the electronics industry. The linear laminate base material has the following advantages compared to the conventional materials.
