摘要

In this paper, an efficient two-dimensional finite element model for arnmooring cable and seabed interaction is built while geometric shapernand tensions of the cable are computed in time domain. In the model, arnhybrid beam element is employed to simulate the mooring cable withrnthe seabed simulated by different soil constitutive models. When thernelastic and elastic-plastic soil constitutive models are used forrncomputation, the mooring cable stresses and offsets at fairlead point arernalso compared accounting for friction effect between cable and seabed.rnBoth transversal and longitudinal behaviors are studied at differentrnwater depths.
