Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Icaridin 25 Lotion

摘要

Icaridin is a very good insect repellent recommended by the World Health Organization, in order to establish analytical method for quality control, icaridin 25% lotion was identified by GCMS, MS, NMR and FTIR. The results indicated that the active ingredient of icaridin 25% lotion was icaridin itself and they were accorded with its chemical structure. The quantitative analysis method of icaridin 25% lotion was established by GC-FID, the study indicated that, the average content of active ingredient of icaridin 25% lotion is determined as 27.74% with 0.43% of SD and 1.56% of coefficient of variation, the fortified recovery of this method were from 98%~ 101% with 1.23% of SD and 1.24% of coefficient of variation, this method can be used for quantitative analysis of icaridin.
