Electrolaryngeal Speech Enhancement by Using Attached Microphones onto Electrolarynx

In this study, we proposed a new EL speech en-rnhancement system based on MA, so that the needrnfor a CTM in existing systems can be resolved. Inrnour system, observations of individual channels are enhanced and contribute to generation of the fnalrnenhanced EL speech which could resemble SSCTM.rnHowever, in some cases, due to overlapping errorrnbars, the improvement is not statistically signif-rncant. To avoid this problem, it is crucial to minimizernwrong speech source selection prior to calculatingrngains for the Wiener fltering.
