Operation Fatigue Analysis of the Sizing Saw Posts Based on the Jack Software

Using the Jack ergonomics analysis software, a virtual human model was created according to China's specific circumstances. Based on the model, the operation process of the sizing saw machine post was simulated and the operation fatigue analysis was performed to assess the occupational risk which might cause operation fatigue, and to propose measures to lower operation fatigue. The results showed that the recovery time of carrying posture operation fatigue was higher than the actual fatigue recovery time. In the process of lifting and carrying operations, the lower back stress is higher than NIOSH recommended stress limit 3400N. Moreover, the lifting operation analysis showed that the carrying composite of this post was 2.237. There was the risk of operation fatigue in the sizing saw machine posts. The operation assignment should be redesigned in order to avoid occupational injuries.
