STEEL PLATE THICKNESS MEASUREMENT USING IMPACT-ECHO METHOD

In this study we use impact echo method for measuringrnthe thickness of steel plates. Numerical simulation ofrnsteel plates by the purpose of thickness measurementrnwas performed on the different plate thicknesses. Thernimpact echo method is usually using for concreternstructures. In this study we applied this method for steelrnplates and the results indicated that this method alsorncould be report truly the thickness of the steel plates.
