摘要

Charge injection from a metallic electrode into a polymeric insulator under alternating electrical stress has been dynamically modelled. When field limiting occurs, the injection current is independent of the actual charge injection law. The saturation electric field during field limiting can be calculated if the charge injection mechanism is known. The model has recently been adapted to include a bipolar charge recombination mechanism for electroluminescence; and describes well the light emission behaviour reported in references [2,3].
