A novel method of gate signal generation for an interleaved series resonant converter is proposed.rnThis is based on the relationship of the output signal of a toggle flip-flop, which has double the periodrnof the input clock signal and the output gate signal of the resonant controller, which has almost half ofrnthe duty cycle. These gate signals for the master and the slave converter are respectively generatedrnusing the rising and falling edge instants from the original control gate signal of the controller. Therefore,rnthe required 90 degree phase difference between two signals can be always kept at any instantrnand at any output load condition.
