摘要

This study compared the temperature decays characteristics of weak plumes and strong plumes along the downstream longitudinal direction under natural ventilation. Experiments were carried out in a small-scale model tunnel to investigate the influence of fire plumes at different ceiling- fire source heights on the temperature distribution beneath ceiling. It is found that, the decay rate of temperature beneath ceiling induced by weak plumes is lower than that of strong plumes. And a new correlation is proposed by introducing the characteristic plume radius to predict the temperature decay of ceiling jet along the downstream longitudinal direction. The proposed model can provide well prediction to the present work and previous related data.
