NATURAL VENTILATING DEVICE OR DEVICE FOR NATURAL VENTILATION UTILIZING TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ROOM AND CEILING OR ATMOSPHERE

PURPOSE:To permit to effect natural ventilation by a method wherein an air discharging pipe and an air suction pipe, having different length, are provided and amounts of discharge and suction are controlled by a damper. CONSTITUTION:The long chimney type air discharge pipe has a power to suck warm-air up and, therefore, sucks the warm-air in the room up to discharge it into the ceiling. In case the room is sealed, cool air descends naturally through the suction pipe 2. In case there is a gap in the room or between fittings, cool air enters through the gap and warm-air is discharged into the ceiling through the suction pipe 2 also. A damper 3 controls the amount of ventilating air in accordance with the temperature difference between the room and the ceiling. A damper controller is connected to the damper 3 through a damper controlling wire 4 to operate the damper. A damper stopper 5 stops the damper at the closed or half-opened condition thereof by changing the position of a stopper screw and when it is warm in the room, the room is ventilated at all times even though the amount of ventilation is small.
