Comparative Study on the Process Capability Indices C_(pm) and C_(pk)

摘要

Designed according to the actual production process, process capability indices (PCIs) C_(pk) and C_(pm) revise the potential PCI C_p when bias happens in the production process. In this paper, we will concern the following issues: what characteristics do the above two PCIs have? When the off-central ε( = |μ-M|) equals, what is the quantitative relationship between them? Which is superior? We try to find answers for these issues by comparative study for these two PCIs.
