Thermoelectric Generator is one source of energy that has huge potential to become a clean energy alternative, because it does not produce a movement or noise to generate electricity. With the principle of temperature difference on both sides will get electric power output. The problem is it takes a large temperature difference to produce enough electricity, while more heat means required high cooling as well so that the heat does not flow into the cold side. In this study, will be examined potential thermoelectric generator that operates at room temperature with the heat difference is 25-30°C, and thermoelectric cooler as the cooling medium to decrease cabin temperature. The research proves that the thermoelectric efficiency is still very low for the system at room temperature because of the temperature difference is low, but with the added power from the solar module can increase the potential for lowering the temperature of the vehicle cabin.
