Study on the Disc Sawing-Type Anti-Blocking Technology for No-Tillage Planter

The issue of blocking in practical production has been one of the key fac tors affecting the operation quality and productivity of no-tillage planter. Based on synthetically analyzing the requests of no-tillage planter for anti-blocking function, the poor adaptability of passive anti-blocking device, and vices of high rotation-speed (above1500r/min), high power consumption (16kW/m~41.74kW/m), and abrasion on present no-tillage planter,in this research, a new type of disc sawing anti-blocking device had been developed. The device's operation principle, structural features, and parameters of the key parts including disc sawing cutter, throwing ban, and assembly of fixed and moved blades had been determined, furthermore, the disc sawing cutter's mechanics features and mechanism of cutting and anti-blocking had been analyzed. The theory and experiment demonstrated that the disc sawing anti-blocking device had much advantages including simple structure, innovative design, being capable of embedding stubbles, without the vices of common lubricity cutter's being incapable of embedding stubbles. And with low-speed sawing instead of high-speed cutting, it had better cutting and directionally-throwing performance, and better featured by low rotate ion-speed (650r/min), low power consumption (per unit width 2.95kW/m), and good adaptability to stubble covering content, it had innovated a new approach for the study and development of anti-blocking technology of notillage planter.
